DIOCESAN COMMITTEE ELECTED The: annual meeting of the Christchurch diocesan committee of the New Zealand Anglican Bible Class Union was held recently after a high tea in l St. Luke’s -parish hall. The Rev. H. G. Norris, president for the last three years, and Miss A. R. Hughes, secretary for the last four years, who have both resigned from office, were thanked for their services to the organisation. A film, entitled “Children of the Wasteland,” waSshown by Mr J. C. Cottrell? Officers were elected as follows: president, the Rev. C. S. Knight; vicepresidents, Miss D. Redgrave and Mr J. C. Cottrell; secretary, Miss E. I. Falloon; treasurer, Mr A. Marne; committee, the Revs., R. Lowe and G. W. Mpuntfort. Deacdness M. Henderson. Sister Leona, Misses M. Hughes and •E. ’niomas, Messrs N. Collins and G. Scrimshaw .
