Woman Bookmaker Fined.—Mr» Linda Mary McCready, aged 45, who said she had only six clients, was fined £5O by Mr R. M. Grant, S.M., in the Auckland Magistrate’s Court yesterday for carrying on the business of < bookmaker. She pleaded guilty.— (P.A.)
