LOAN CONVERSION
A large muznber of hflSders of stocfc in the loan being converted by the Government on 15th September next did not submit - applications for conversion. This emission may have been by inadvertence in many cases, or it may have been because the term offered was too short Whether the omission was by inadvertence or design, investors are reminded that a safe and profitable avenue for reinvestment is the Christchurch Drainage Board’s present debenture issue. Reservations can be pencilled now and arrangements made to pay over the amount, of the investment immediately the maturing stock is payable thus avoiding any loss of interest.
