MINERS’ SUPPORT FOR RUBBER WORKERS

(From Out Own Reporter) GREYMOUTH, August 30. Financial assistance to members ot the Canterbury Rubber Workers Union, who have been on strike for a month, will be given by West Coast miners.

The Wallsend Miners’ Union decided to contribute £25. after the men had agreed to a 5s deduction from their wages. Blackball and Dobson miners are understood also to have decided to make a contribution. The Runanga State Miners’ Union ts yet to discuss the matter.
