EXCESS CONSUMPTION CONTINUES (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, August 30. It is a year since power supply authorities drawing from the main South Island grid of the State Hydroelectrip Department were within their allocation. For the week ended August 29. 1954, when a 10 per cent restriction was operating, supply authorities were 2 per cent, below allocation. Last week they were not below allocation, but. at 0.2 per cent above their allowable consumption, they were the nearest they have been to meeting their obligations since last y€ North Island supply authorities last week exceeded their allocation by 6.2 per cent
