VICE PRESIDENT TO VISIT N.Z.
(New Zealand Press Association> WELLINGTON, August 30. Mr Harold Woolley, vice-president of the National Farmers’ Union, the chief farmers’ organisation in Britain, is to visit New Zealand next month on a tour. He will arrive in Wellington on September 21 and next day will attend the quarterly meeting of the Dominion council of Federated Farmers, which has been postponed for several weeks so that he can be present. The general secretarv of Federated Farmers (Mr A. P. O’Shea) said today that among the questions Mr Woolley would discuss with the federation were the mutual interests of farmers in New Zealand and Britain in farm products, marketing, and the disposal of surpluses.
