NUFFIELD TRUST FOR CRIPPLES
£47,700 DISTRIPUTED IN 20 YEARS (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON. August 25. A report presented at the annual i meeting of the Nuffield Trust in Wei-: lington stated that during the 20 years j in which the trust had been operating, i £47.740 had been handed to the New Zealand Crippled Children Society. | The trust board was established in! 1935 to administer a gift of £60.000 byViscount Nuffield, and during the last; 20 years further gifts and legacies in New Zealand have increased the trust fund to £73.329. Several known legacies will increase this amount still further in future years The trust funds are all invested in trustee securities and the whole of the ; income is distributed annually to the New Zealand Crippled Children Society. This year the amount distributed was £2BOO. The whole of the trust operations were conducted this year without any expense, and all those connected with its operations gave; their services free.
