NEW ZEALAND KENNEL CLUBS

The following officers were elected at the annual meeting of the New Zealand Kennel Club held recently in Wellington: President. Mr M. K. McDermott (Christchurch): vice-president, Mr A. B. Fraser (Dunedin): committee, Messrs T. V. Cooke (Lower Hutt), J. Markham (Hamilton), J. McDougall (Auckland), N. W. Bond (Wanganui), H. A. Hester (Blenheim), and N. L. Pratt (Invercargill). A report was given on the final plans for the one-day national dog show, which will be held in Wellington on September 10. This will be the first show of its type to be staged in New Zealand, and will be run on lines similar to Cruft?. A panel of New Zealand judges has beeri appointed..
