A CONDEMNED MAN

Sir, —Followers of Jesus of Nazarith who worship Him as the incarnate Spirit of Love (God) should be guided by His teaching and example in all important decisions affecting His eternal purpose—redemption. Regarding the punishment for murder, here is His verdict, pronounced upon mature, deliberate, unrepentant murderers: “Father, forgive them for they know not what they do.” In identification with a civilisation that has rejected His teaching and with religious organisations that have persistently betrayed Him and in consequence have caused confused thinking and produced delinquents, I am willing to take the punishment for this young victim of circumstances. All those who pass judgment should read “Release” by Starr Daily.—Yours, etc., D. W. JONES. June 29. 1955.
