ELECTION OF OFFICERS Table show and annual show trophies won by members of the Canterbury Chrysanthemum Society were presented at the annual meeting of the society.' Officers elected were:—patron, Mr F. T. Tindall; president, Mr L. J. M. Manson; deputy-chairman, Mr H. Williams; vice-presidents, Mrs E. L. King Messrs R. C. Jaggar, W. S. Busch and L. Clark; executive committee, Mrs R. Brant, Messrs W. S. Busch, L' Clark, g- Da ™?, F - G - Jone s. A. T. Rich and H. Williams; honorary secretarytreasurer, Mrs C. le Roi; trustees, president and honorary secretary; honorary auditor, Mr P. C. Browne; learners’ class instructor, Mr L. Clark. As a mark of respect to the memory of Mrs David Crozier and Mr M E Lyons members stood for a moment m silence.
