WOOLSTON BRASS BAND

Past and present members of the Woolston Brass Band will make a presentation to Mr R. J. Estall at a social function to be held on Wednesday evening. Mr Estall joined the band in 1898 and was a member for 55 years. He was appointed conductor in 1915, a post which he held until his retirement in 1953.

The Mayor (Mr R. M, Macfarlane. M.P.) and other civic dignitaries have been invited to the function, which will be held in the Woolston Returned Services’ Association clubroom.
