CITY ARCHITECT

APPOINTMENT OF MR A. ALLISON

Mr A. Allison has been appointed City Architect by the Christchurch City Council.

At present Assistant City Architect, Mr Allison has been with the council since December, 1953. He is 27 years old and holds a diploma in architecture of Auckland University College, and has almost completed a thesis for a bachelor of architecture degree. He is a registered member of the New Zealand Institute of Architects and had practical experience with a Christchurch firm during university vacation*.
