FRENCH DOUBLES CHAMPIONSHIP (N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) a . PARIS, June 2. Americas No. 1 pair. Vic Seixas and Tony Trabert, entered the semi-finals of the French doubles championship today when they won a four-set quarter-finai match against Sven Davidson, of Sweden and Kurt Nielsen, of Denmark. The American pair piled up faults in the first set. which they dropped 4-6 Davidson and Nielsen attacked strongly in the second set and ran to a 5-3 lead. The Americans, however, rallied well to take the set 7-5. From then on they were untroubled to win.

Results: Men’s Doubles—Quarter-finals: V. Seixas and T. Trabert (United States) beat S Davidson (Sweden) and K. Nielsen (Denmark), 4-6, 7-5, 6-1, 6-2; B. Patty and H, Richardson (United States) beat P. Remy and M. Bernard (France), 9-7, 4-6, 8-6, 6-2; A. Larsen (United States) and E. Morea (Argentina) beat J. Brichant and P. Washer (Belgium), 6-2, 5-7, 0-6, 6-3.
