Photographic Society.— An American colour .film dealing with the making of high-quality lenses was shown at a recent meeting of the. Christchurch Photographic Society. Slides of the recently-judged Wiltshire colour competition were also shown. Water Storage for Power.— There was a further increase of about 1.000.000 units in water storage for the South Island power grid in the 24 hours to midday yesterday. The total then was 189,460,000 units.
