TV OFFER TO CHURCHILL
(Bee. 10 p.m.) HOLLYWOOD, May 25. A Hollywood television producer >aid today that he had offered Sir Winston Churchill a job in television. Str Winston Churchill had indicated that he liked the idea. The producer, Jack Chertok, head of Chertok Productions Incorporated said his representative had been in touch with representatives of Sir Winston Churchill, but that no deal had been reached yet. “Actually, it’s a little premature right now,” Mr Chertok said. “1 understand that Sir Winston likes the idea. We hope he’ll say yes.” Mr Chertok said his company suggested that Sir Winston Churchill make 26 films spanning the last -o years erf his career. Each film would last an hour and would be produced mostly with historic documentary films. Sir Winston Churchill would
appear at the start and finish of each film, Mr Chertok said.
