Man Kills Son Just Before Wedding

Police reported today that a 60-year-old man, disapproving of his deaf mute son’s marriage, killed the son and himself. a few hours before the wedding. The tragedy occurred yesterday in a garage behind the home where the intended bridegroom, Walton Reed, aged 36, lived with his parents. Walton Reed was shot three times in the chest just after he and his father had driven into the garage and tumbled from the car. His father, Armor Reed, walked to the rear of the car and fell, a bullet in his temple. He had a pistol beside him.
