CRICKET AUSTRALIAN GAME DRAWN
TRINIDAD MAKES 290 FOR FOUR

The Australians’ match against Trinidad ended in a draw today after the depleted Australian attack had taken a beating in the home team's second innings. Stollmeyer and Hammon Furlonge put on 204 for the first wicket, and Trinidad declared at 290 for the loss of only four wickets.
Australia batted for 90 minutes in the second innings, and in this period lost four for 114 runs.
The Australians showed a lack of interest in their game today by bowling Morris and Watson.
Stollmeyer made 95 in 209 minutes, with 13 fours. Furlonge ‘reached his 150 after 285 minutes’ batting. He hit. 24 fours. - In Australia’s second innings Watson scored a very nice 50 in 78 minutes.
WEST INDIES TEST TEAM
FOUR CHANGES MADE (N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) (Rec. 10 p.m.) PORT OF SPAIN, April 7. Four changes are being made in the West Indies team to meet Australia in the second test, which begins at Port of Spain on April 11. Worrell, Atkinson. Binns, and Gibbs are being omitted and replaced by Stollmeyer, Sobers. Butler, and McWatt. The team is: Stollmeyer, Holt, Weekes, Walcott, Smith, Sobers, McWatt. King, Butler, Valentine', Ramadhin, and Furlonge (twelfth man).
