MOTOR-CYCLE RACING
BENEFIT MEETING AT LAKE BRYNDWR A small crowd saw some good motorcycle racing at a meeting held by the Pioneer Motor Club at Lake Bryndwr on Saturday. The meeting was a benefit meeting for Mr Ray Boundy, who was badly injured in a crash at the recent Mairehau road races. Mr Boundy was among the spectators. Although entries were excellent, scratchings and absentees seriously depleted the number of starters in several events. During the first few races falls were fairly frequent and the Climax came when J. Graham, having the misfortune to leave the road at the S-bend, disappeared, with his machine, into the lake. No rider suffered any serious injury. Races were held over a distance of five laps except for the Boundy Handicap, which was over 10. Results:—
