STOCK EXCHANGES ACTIVE TRADING Markets were active on the Christchurch Stock Exchange yesterday. Prices of most stocks showed little variation. National Bank of Australasia rights, .which showed a slight easing tendency, continued to be actively traded. Southland Frozen Meats were cheaper in ex dividend business at 60s, and there were more buyers in the offing, but no further sellers appeared. New Zealand Refrigerating contributings rose further to business at 255, with more wanted at 24s 9d—no sellers. New Zealand Insurance reached a new peak in sales at £6 17s 9d, and the market closed at £6 17s 6d and £6 18s, re-
