MAGISTRATE’S COURT
SATURDAY (Before Mr R. H. Harris, J.P. and Mr H. A. Stevens, J.P.) REMANDED
Henry George McMillan, aged 35, a railways traffic assistant (Mr B. J. Drake), charged with assaulting Molly Frances McMillan on January 21, was remanded to January 31. Bail was allowed in the sum of £5O and one surety of £5O. William James Hayes, aged 25, a truck driver, was charged with unlawfully converting to his own use a motor-truck valued at £l2O, the property of Farmer and Walters Garage. Ltd., on November 26.
On the application of Detective C. P. Burns a remand to next Thursday was granted. Bail was allowed in the sum of £5O and one surety of £5O.
