SEX INSTRUCTION PAMPHLETS
COPIES FOR ISSUE TO PARENTS

WELLINGTON, January 20. The Government Printing Office has started printing five illustrated pamphlets designed to help parents give instruction in sex matters to their children. Delivery of the first printing of 10,000 copies of each pamphlet is expected to be made to the Health Department next month. The copies will then be made available to parentteacher associations for distribution to parents who want them. Titles 4>f the pamphlets are “Sex and the Parent,” “Sex and the Young Child,” “Sex, the Adolescent, and Parent; the Parent’s Role,” “Sex and the Adolescent Boy,” and “Sex and the Adolescent Girl.” Sponsored by the Health Department, the pamphlets were prepared by a panel under the chairmanship of Mr A. S. Partridge, of the Auckland eration of Parent-Teachers’ Associations. The medical, teaching, and legal professions were represented on the panel of 17 men and women, all people of authority in their particular fields.
