ENGAGEMENT
(Engagements Notices must be signed by both parties.) The engagement is announced of Marcelly Joy, elder daughter of Mrs and the late Mr H. L. Kircher, 43 Cameron street, Ashburton, to Robert Lester, youngest son of the late Mr J. C. Blackburn and Mrs J. Wallace, 6 Clarke street, Ashburton.
A talk on the care of the feet was given by Mrs J. Poulton at a recent meeting of the Somerfleld Townswomen’s Guild. Circle leaders reported on activities of the groups. Mrs F. Milne presided.
