DEATH OF FRENCH PRETENDER

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday for Otto de Bourbon Hapsburg, a pretender to the French Throne, who died on Sunday at the age of 79. A native of Munich, he came to San Francisco in 1898. In 1948 he was evicted from his home for not having paid rent for eight years. At the time of the eviction, his daughter, Alwine, told the police that- her father had held her captive for 10 years, allowing her out only twice for chaperoned shopping trips.
