Plants for Sub-Antarctic
Cabbage, silver beet, lettuce, and parsley plants are being taken to Campbell Island by H.M.N.Z.S. Tui. They grown by Dr. R. G. Simmers, Assistant Director of the Meteorological Service, at Karori, with the aid of friends who contributed tins, seeds, and advice, and they will be planted in the meteorological officers’ garden at Campbell Island.
