Admiral Sir Herbert Heath Dead

(Rec. 10 p.m.) LONDON, October 25. Admiral Sir Herbert Leopold Heath, who commanded the cruiser line at the Battle of Jutland, died, at the age of 92, at his Sussex home on Friday, it was announced today. Sir Herbert Heath had a loner and distinguished naval career. He entered the Navy in 1874 and retired voluntarily in 1922. In World War I he commanded at various times the 7th Cruiser Squadron, the 2nd Cruiser Squadron, and the 3rd Battle Squadron. From 1918 to 1919 he w*as Second Sea Lord.

Second London Civil Airport.— Gatwick airport, 30 miles south of London, will be developed as the capital’s secona main civil airport. It is expected to be in operation by the summer of 1958.—London, October 24.
