LAWN TENNIS
CASHMERE CLUB Opening day was arranged for October 2 at the annual meeting of the Cashmere Lawn Tennis Club. Mrs E. E. Williams was elected a life K member of the club. Officers elected were:—-
President, Mr K. O. Andrews; vicepresidents. Mrs E. Williams, Dr. D. B. MacLeod, and Mr A. J. Derbidge; club captain, Mr R. Armstrong; vice-captain. Miss H. Fraser; secretary, Mr L G. Jones; assistant secretary, I. Williams; treasurer, Mr A. B. McCallum; committee, Mesdames K. Shirlaw, W. Murie, H. Barnett, Misses P. Mackie, and P. Blewman, Messrs M. Healey, S. Bullen, D. Bannehr, A. B. Fraser, R. Dunn, and G. Skelton.
