INDOOR MILE RACE
The first indoor mile to be staged in New Zealand, with Murray Halberg among the competitors, will be the major attraction of an indoor sports meeting in the spacious Y.M.C.A. stadium at Palmerston North on September 18. The Olympic and Empire Games champion. Miss Yvette Williams, will also take part, but only in the shot put event.
