BUILDING WILL COST £45,000 "The Press” Special Service AUCKLAND, August 30. Tenders are to be called immediately plans are completed for a combined overseas and internal passenger terminal at Whenuapai, according to an announcemet by the Minister in charge of Civil - Aviation (Mr T. L Macdonald). y The new build irfg, which will have a total floor space of 13,000 square feet, will cost between £45,000 and £50,000. The present terminal will be used to house airlines staff. In his statement. Mr Macdonald said agreement had been reached between the Government and the operating companies on the layout and facilities of the new terminal building. He expected that it would meet all requirements for both internal and overseas services.
