HOME SERVICEMEN’S ASSOCIATION

DECISIONS AT ANNUAL MEETING (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, August 30. Members of the New Zealand Home Servicemen’s Association decided at their annual meeting at Wellington that some sort of affiliation or amalgamation with other former servicemen’s associations would be desirable. It was decided that servicemen who had trained for service for Korea and otherwise were eligible for membership might become members of the association. The following officers were elected:— president, Mr E. M. Stace; vice-presi-dent, Mr M. R. Nicol; district vicepresidents, Messrs C. W. Stack (northern districts), J. F. Cook (central districts), and P. J. Hailes (southern districts).
