NURSING CORPS IN GREECE

ATHENS. The Greek Parliament passed a bill setting up a special nursing corps for the armed forces named after Queen Frederika. The corps which will replace th« Red Cross nurses so far accepted by the services carries military rank up to that of lieutenant-colonel and equivalent status in the Royal Navy and Air Force. Recruits must have no children and are not allowed to marry for the Arab five years although childless widows and divorcees are also eligible.
