Blind Persons Make Good Dancers

(From a Reuter porrespondeHt) MANNHEIM, (West Germany). The blind are on the average rather better dancers than those who can sea, reported the State School for the Blind at Ilversheim, Germany. Blind people have a much better ear and a keener sense of rhythm and movement and they know their dance music much more thoroughly than ordinary persons. Once they know the shape of the dance floor and any obstacles that may be in the way they can rumba,, samba and waltz as well as anyone—and better than many.
