Y.M.C.A. APPEAL

Sir,—May I express on behalf of the directors and staff of the Christchurch Young Men’s Christian Association our thanks and gratitude to the citizens of the community and surrounding districts for their generous gifts on the day of our recent street appeal. Our thanks, too, to the great 4 band of collectors, both young and old, business houses, the press, radio, and all who contributed to bring in the total of £62?- The Y.M.C.A. goes forward in the strength of continued confidence of fellow-citizens, and will ever strive to build Christian character into lives of future citizens.—Yours, etc., MERVYN M. BETTS, August 30, 1954.
