Hukbalahap Leader Sentenced

(Rec. 9 p.m.) < MANILA, August 30. Luis Taruc, the Filipino Hukbalahap rebel Communist leader who surrendered to the Government earlier this year, was today sentenced to 12 years’ imprisonment and fined 20,000 pesos on charges of rebellion. Taruc had pleaded guilty.
