HELICOPTER AIRLINE SERVICE ACROSS THE ENGLISH CHANNEL—A Westland Sikorsky S5l four-seater helicopter. This class of aircraft is being used for experimental flights between Lympne (Kent) and Calais by the airline company which has been granted Britain’s first international helicopter licence. The company plans to carry passengers and freight across the English Channel by helicopter, and ultimately to replace its present freight planes by big car-carrying helicopters.
