SQUASH RACKETS

N.Z. WOMEN’S TEAM TO VISIT AUSTRALIA (New Zealand Press Association) PALMERSTON NORTH, July 15. The secretary of the New Zealand Squash Rackets Association (Mr R. O. Hoddon) announced tonight that a women’s representative team of three players would take part in the Victorian and Australian women’s squash championships from August 7 to August 27. The team comprises Mrs Nancy New (Palmerston North), Mrs Myra Kennedy (Oamaru), and Miss Dorothy GilbertSmith (Hamilton), first, second and fourth ranking players for New Zealand respectively. The players will return to New Zealand on August 28, and will go immediately to Invercargill for the New Zealand championships.
