TRIAL HELD BY M.G. CAR CLUB
A “follow-the-leader” trial of about 100 miles was held by the Christchurch centre of the M.G. Car Club on Sunday. Muddy back roads in the Mount Grey, Amberley, and Sefton areas were used, to test each, driver’s skill, and the handling qualities of his ear. Results:— G. Benson, M.G. TD, 11% points lost, 1; K. Tucker, M.G. TC, 15, 2; E. Wright, Singer 9 roadster, 26%, 3; J. Vincent, M.G. TA, 29, 4; B. Victor, M.G. J2. 39%, 5; E. Yaxley, M.G. VA, 45, 6; D. Wright, Morris 8 sports, 51%, 7; H. Spencer, M.G.
