200-METRE RACE IN PARIS (NJZ. Press Association—Copyright) (BgC-8 P-m-) PARIS, June 14. Cyril Peacock (Britain) won the amateur cycling 200 metres Grand Prix in Paris today from Roger Gain guard France) and Cesare Pinarello (Italy). John Tressider (Australia) was beaten in a quarter-final but won the repechage into a semi-final, but was then again beaten by Pinarello. In the semi-final repechage Tressider was opposed to three Frenchmen from the same club and was once more beaten. Peacock's winning time wag 12.2 sec.
