Mineral Prospecting. Regulations gazetted on Thursday evening replace those which have been in force relating to mineral prospecting warrants. Under the old regulations, a warrant called for the employment of two workmen for every 100 acres of land covered by the warrant. This was found to be unworkable, as in the case of a maximum warrant the employment of 200 men would be called forr* The new regulations make for more reasonable conditions.—(PJk.),
