ISRAEL BORDER CLASH

(Rec. 11 pjn.) JERUSALEM, May 2. Two Egyptians were killed and one wounded in a clash between an Israeli patrol and an Egyptian reconnaissance unit in the Negev yesterday, an Israeli military spokesman announced tonight. The spokesman claimed that the Israeli patrol intercepted five Egyptians on Israeli territory near the Falouja-Beersheba road in the southern desert. After an exchange of fire, the two remaining Egyptians retired across the border carrying a wounded companion and leaving two dead behind.
