BAD BEHAVIOUR AT PICTURES

Sir,—At the Mayfair Theatre last night my enjoyment of the film was marred and I was irritated by the childish behaviour of a small portion of the audience. One might think that an X certificate would have been sufficient to eliminate this illmannered element. But no. I suppose we can only hope for the time when science will evolve a method by which admittance to the cinema will be, determined by mental rather than physical age.—Yours, etc., ROBIN H. FRIZZELL. t March 25, 1954.
