98th Birthday Celebration Mr Henry Scott Philpott, who is the oldest patient in the Tuarangi Home, Ashburton, celebrated his ninety-eighth birthday by hiring a bus to give a trip to the 30 most helpless of his colleagues. The party Had a 20-mile drive round Ashburton and afternoon tea in the Tinwald Domain. The North Canl terbury Hospital Board yesterday complimented Mr Philpott on his thoughtfulness and generosity.
