FROZEN LAMBS FOR QUEEN
CONSIGNMENT LEAVES FOR ENGLAND
On board the Port Wellington, which sailed for London from Lyttelton on Tuesday evening, were good addressed: “Her Majesty the Queen. Buckingham Palace.” They were some of the six frozen carcases of lamb which Mr J. H. Grigg, of Longbeach, the homestead at which the Queen and the Duke ci Edinburgh rested during their South Island tour, had promised Her Majesty. During her week-end stay at Longbeach the Queen lamps. It was then that -Mr Grigg promised Her' Majesty that six lamb, carcases from the property would await her arrival in England.
