Temuka Dairy Breeding Group.— A new artificial breeding group for dairy cows may be formed in the Temuka district after a meeting tomorrow evening. Farmers wil be addressed by Mr J. R. Unwin, manager of the South Island Herd Improvement Association, who has supervised the formation of other South Island grouns Grant to Progress League.—-The Rangiora Borough Council decided at at meeting last evening to continue the practice of making an annual grant of £3 3s to the Canterbury Progress League.
