SALVATION ARMY LEADERSHIP
N.Z. COMMANDER LEAVES FOR LONDON TALKS (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, March 24. The Salvation Army’s territorial commander for New Zealand (Lieu-tenant-Commander R. Hoggard) left Wellington tonight for London to attend a meeting of the high council of the Salvation Army to elect a successor to General Albert Orsborn.
After the election of the army’s seventh general the council will disband and the 48 territorial commanders attending it will conduct an international commissioners’ conference.
