DUST AND SALT SPRAY

Sir, —Buildings-' should be hosed quarterly. Unless this is done, the dirt and salt spray eat into the paint, making it shabby and it cannot be removed. Hosing also cleans the windows. The modem jet nozzle can thoroughly hose buildings 20 feet high. The first hosing should be left Jive minutes to soak in and soften the dirt before the second is done.—Yours, etc., E. A. BARTON.
