YACHTING
N.Z. REPRESENTATION AT OLYMPIC REGATTAS (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, December 16. Yachtsmen are now eligible for selection to represent New Zealand at Olympic regattas. The application of the New Zealand Sailing and Motor Yacht Federation for affiliation to the New Zealand Olympic and British Empire Games Association was approved last night. Extensive inquiries were made by a sub-committee of the association before it recommended affiliation. The sub-com-mittee consisted of Messrs A. D. Bayfield. F. W. Ongley, and P. N. Robinson.
