SHEARING DISPLAY BEFORE QUEEN

(New Zealand Press Association) DUNEDIN, December 1. The champion shearer of New Zealand, Mr Godfrey Bowen, will not give a demonstration before the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh at the Royal sports meeting in Dunedin on January 26, but he will give a demonstration at the Waikato Agricultural and Pastoral Society’s show at Hamilton on December 31. Advice to this effect has been recived from the New Zealand Wool Board, the chairman of the Dunedin Sports Day Committee (Mr J. G. Barnes, M.P.) said today.
