Author’s Visit Delayed.— lllness has caused Mr John Brodie to postpone his visit from London to New Zealand to see his relatives. He was to sail aboard the Rangitane and arrive at Auckland about January 3. A cablegram received at New Plymouth on Tuesday said that illness made it inexpedient for him to travel at present. Mr Brodie is known to the literary world as John Guthrie, author of a series of novels, including “The Seekers,” the New Zealand story now being made, into a film. —(P.A.) I
