ALL BLACKS AT ABERDEEN

NORTH OF SCOTLAND HAS WEAK TEAM

[From the Special N.Z.P.A. Correspondent with the team)

(Rec. 11.15 p.m.) ABERDEEN, Dec. 2. Only two internationals are in the North of Scotland team which will play the All Blacks at Aberdeen today. iney are W. D. Allardice, the captain, and J. Greenwood, one of tne wing forwards. Allardice won eight caps in the 1948-49 season, and Greenwood won one last year. Local opinion of the team is somewhat embittered, the belief being that the players are too old. There is a general expectation that the All Blacks will win by a cricket score. A few weeks ago South of Scotland beat the North by 27 points to 8. The team will be: W. Thomson (St. Andrew’s University). E. H. Cruickshank (Grammar School Former Pupils), J. Sabin (Highland), A. M. Nicoll (Harris Academy Former Pupils). D. J. McPherson (Gordonians), J. A. Murray (Panmure), W. D. Allardice (Grammar School Former Pupils, captain), N. Z. Sacks (Aberdeen Wanderers), J. Greenwood (Dunfermline), J. S. Michie (Aberdeen University), C. D. Mowat (Grammar School Former Pupils), J. A. Blake (Panmure), A. A. Tullet (Gordonians), W. D. Bravin (Dunfermline), F. J. Moore (Perthshire Academicals).
