RADIO PROGRAMMES
Sir, —I am quite in sympathy with "Radio Tired’’ as the programmes are terrible at times, both on 3YA and 3ZB. The commercial stations put over some awful stuff and help to demoralise our young folk, with their murder and robbery serials. It is hard to undersland that parents do not demand something bet'or for the well-being of their families. That Deacon Brodie stuff turned one’s blood cold, and others like it. We pay good money for rather poor programmes. It is a pity that we cannot take a vote on it.—Yours, etc., ALSO RADIO WEARY. Rangiora, November 30, 1953.
